Today’s paper headline: “Prostitution may be decriminalized” in San Fran. Why? Proposition K forbids local authorities from investigating, arresting or prosecuting anyone for selling sex. Not technically “legalizing” prostitution, but the law would eliminate the power of local law enforcement officers to go after the heathens.

Okay, here’s the bottom-line. The police need money. $11 mil will be kept in coffers if they leave the girls alone. I suppose there must be more important heathens running amuck out there.

The up and down and in and out (no pun intended) of finances, politics and force are tipped easily, eh?
